Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a way to try SimpleTherapy?

Are the exercises difficult or painful?

At the end of each session, we ask you for feedback. You rate each exercise as too easy, too hard, or just right, and our program will automatically adjust your next set of exercises to match your comfort level—letting you Progress Yourself.

If any exercise causes you any discomfort, you may decide not perform it. You may skip it, and you can tell us that it hurt at the end of the session. Your program will remove the exercise and replace it with a new one that’s a better match for you.

Do I need to be an active person to use SimpleTherapy?

Not at all. We listen to what you tell us about yourself and select your exercises based on what you share. Then we listen to your feedback, and the exercises adapt to meet your needs even better. You’ll Progress Yourself® at your own pace, no matter where you start.

What if I miss a session? Should I stop or start over?

All you need to do is log in, and SimpleTherapy will automatically pick up right where you left off, even if it’s been a while!

Do I need any special equipment?

Our exercises are designed to be done with household items that you already have, not anything you’d need to buy. Examples include a pillow, chair, step, or soda can.

How will I remember to do my exercises regularly?

You’re able to choose whether you’d prefer to receive reminders by email or text message, and you get to choose which days and times they’ll be sent. Our community care team members will even reach out to you if we see you haven’t visited us in a while. We do all we can to help you remember!

How long will it take to feel better?

This depends on your condition and how frequently you complete the 15 minute sessions. Almost half of people say they feel somewhat better after just one session, and that more extensive improvement is felt within 6-12 weeks.
